Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related subject, with a minimum of 8 years of experience, which may be reduced with a Master's or Doctorate degree in the same fields.
- An active and in-scope TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
- An active/current basic CCNA certification.
- A solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco appliances, including routing protocols.
- Proficiency in writing scripts for Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
- The ability to work well independently and within a team while maintaining professional behavior with all stakeholders.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb 30 ft.
Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer, you will be expected to:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network appliances (routers, switches, and firewalls).
- Monitor the entire network infrastructure (LAN & WAN) and provide regular reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure network optimization and effective task completion.
- Ensure network uptime, performance, and security.
- Document and enforce network standards.
- Manage and maintain IP addressing schema.
- Travel OCONUS as needed, ensuring readiness and adaptability.
- Maintain the network lab in Chantilly, VA.
Description
Our National Security Sector is seeking an experienced and cleared Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. We pride ourselves on a highly technical and motivated team environment, and we are looking for someone who can troubleshoot complex problems and implement cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience as a network engineer, particularly with OCONUS experience preferred. This role requires approximately 50% travel to OCONUS locations. Given our diverse teams interacting across multiple time zones, excellent communication skills and flexibility in teamwork are essential for success in this position.
