Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in software engineering, computer science, or a related field with 4-8 years of recent relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a US citizen and able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Candidates must be residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
Responsibilities
- I will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to write software (primarily using C++ and Python) to solve problems in various disciplines, including EO/IR sensor systems.
- Interfaces and troubleshooting with hardware via Ethernet, USB, RS-232, high-speed I/O, etc., will be part of my role.
- I must effectively work and communicate with multidisciplinary teams and have familiarity with developing for both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Our Defense Systems Sector RF Systems Division is looking for a Mid-level Software Developer who will engage in multiple projects, including hardware integration and modeling & simulation. I will join a collaborative team to create unique solutions for complex problems in sensor integration, testing, characterization, modeling, simulation, data analysis, and algorithm development for electro-optical infrared (EO/IR) systems. The ideal candidate will show experience or enthusiasm for developing a broader technical capability and be ready to support multiple tasks in parallel while effectively communicating with management, coworkers, and customers. In selecting candidates, preference may be given to those with recent stellar academic performance, relevant experience demonstrating a multi-disciplined skill set, or familiarity with EO/IR phenomenology, hardware integration and testing, image processing, GPU programming, or AI/ML solutions. The pay range for this position is $85,150.00 - $153,925.00. This range serves as a general guideline and is influenced by responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
