Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have a current TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph. Additionally, the following qualifications are essential:
- 5 points of relevant background, which can be acquired through one of these options:
- A High School diploma with 5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
- A High School diploma with 4 years of experience along with GPC level I and II certifications.
- A relevant BS degree with 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), especially using ArcGIS applications.
- Experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and various geospatial features.
- Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
- Ability to analyze both imagery and non-imagery sources for application in NGA hydrographic products and databases.
Responsibilities
As a Cartographic Analyst, you will be a key member of a government-contractor team. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production, and Review while supporting existing and developing mission areas.
- Working on future needs and capabilities, which may include Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
- Performing cartographic and GIS analysis functions, extracting features from diverse sources (including rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery).
- Updating source catalogs and related information, along with data conversion and migration tasks.
Description
This position is a second shift role, operating from 1500 to 2300, Monday through Friday. We highly value previous experience in the Nautical Maritime field as a preferred qualification.
The anticipated pay range for this position is between $57,850 and $104,575. Please note that this range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee any specific level of compensation. The offer will consider various factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
