Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years, or a Master's degree with experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics. - Strong programming ability in Python and/or C/C++ for Linux environments. - Knowledge of code configuration control. - Familiarity with common machine and deep learning packages such as Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, etc. - Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to coworkers, teammates, and customers. - Active SECRET clearance or higher, with an ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. - US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

- I will work with teams on the research, design, and development of sensor exploitation systems including signal processing, automatic target recognition, and signature modeling. - I will collaborate with our customers to address challenging mission requirements by researching and developing new capabilities, as well as making improvements to existing systems. - I will rapidly and iteratively implement new algorithms to address these challenges. - I will develop Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms using Python, MATLAB, C++, and other languages for real-world applications, leveraging state-of-the-art AI/ML tools and methods to improve the performance of ATR systems. - I will provide technical leadership for tasks and programs.

As a machine learning and signal processing engineer, you will apply your skills to a wide variety of problems and datasets, focusing primarily on remote sensing applications such as SAR/RF, acoustic, EO/IR, and LIDAR. Current projects include detection, tracking, data fusion, and classification. You will interact with customers, lead technical project areas, and have opportunities to grow in new technologies. This position requires about three-quarters of the job duties to be performed onsite due to the sensitive nature of the work and the importance of in-person collaboration; however, we offer flexible in-office hours and the option to perform some job duties remotely.
