Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with over 2 years of professional experience; or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience. I may consider relevant work experience in place of a degree.
- I possess the capability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship is required).
- I have a solid understanding of machine learning principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, as well as model evaluation.
- I am proficient in Python and common machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
- I have a strong grasp of object-oriented software design.
- I am familiar with PyTorch or comparable frameworks and have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- I am experienced in using version control tools such as Git.
- I have some exposure to MLOps concepts or tools like MLflow, Docker, and CI/CD.
- I possess basic knowledge of SQL and how to query data.
- I demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- I am eager to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- I assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
- I work with extensive datasets, focusing on cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- I collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to incorporate ML models into applications.
- I help monitor model performance and retrain or update models as necessary.
- I contribute to documentation and best practices for the team.
- I stay informed about the latest research, tools, and technologies in machine learning.
- I may require occasional travel (10%), whether domestic or international.
