Requirements

Must:
- I have experience administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment. - I possess knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools necessary for technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances. - I have technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations. - I am proficient in creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces. - I can work independently to support customer requirements. - I have experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions. - I am familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow. - I hold an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification. - I meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher). - I have a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience. Education equivalencies of an Associate’s degree with 14 years of related experience or a High School Diploma with 16 years of related experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. - Due to the nature of our government contracts, I must be a U.S. Citizen. - I require a TS/SCI with Poly clearance for this position or a TS/SCI willingness to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

Responsibilities

- I will ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance are operational at all times. - I will back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates in accordance with customer policies. - I will alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary. - I will create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces. - I will develop and implement technical solutions in partnership with engineers and architects. - I will provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages. - I will develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures, and other documentation for IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.

While this is a guideline only, it is influenced by several factors including job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
