Lead Systems Engineer

- I require a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university, with at least 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience. - I need candidates who have experience in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems. - Experience working with design teams developing hardware and/or software products is essential. - The position requires a candidate capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment while working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. - Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating within a team environment is important. - I prefer candidates with proficiency in developing Systems Engineering artifacts, including but not limited to Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs). - Candidates must be residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. - A secret clearance is necessary, or the candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
