Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 15+ years of relevant experience; other degrees may be considered based on related experience.
- I possess a strong background in the entire software development lifecycle, including systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.
- I have successfully integrated AI/ML tools into business processes, particularly within software development and testing.
- I am well-versed in AI/ML frameworks, tools, and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and their integration into enterprise software environments.
- I have a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data analytics.
- I am familiar with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in software engineering.
- I have experience with multiple software development methodologies and can apply AI to these frameworks.
- I excel in problem-solving and can clearly communicate complex technological concepts in accessible language.
- I demonstrate proven leadership skills and can collaborate effectively with diverse teams across various departments and locations.
- I am capable of leading the change management process while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the design and architecture of solutions for Navy/Marine Corps experimental activities (such as RIMPAC and Trident Warrior) to ensure our solutions meet or exceed project requirements.
- I will conduct an analysis of alternatives (AoA) on technologies and solutions, defending my approach as part of formal reviews and delivering documents or whitepapers.
- I will allocate up to 70% of my time to support business development/capture activities, marketing campaigns for bid/proposal initiatives, and engage with customers to understand their needs for OTAs and RIMPAC exercises, contributing to our business area's success.
- I will stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML, GenAI, and software development/automation technologies.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., CHO-IRAD, software, AI, and Cyber accelerators) to find opportunities to implement new innovations, integrating Leidos solutions across Navy, Marine Corps, and IndoPACOM opportunities.
- I will regularly maintain collaboration with Practices, CHO-IRAD, software, AI, and Cyber accelerators, as well as external partners (including ISVs, CSPs, and emerging tech partners) on pipeline opportunities and suitable solutions for Navy and Marine Corps clients.
Description
We at Leidos are looking for a spirited and innovative Senior Solutions Architect to join our Navy and Marine Corps Business Area in San Diego, CA. In this position, I will support the Business Area Chief Technology Officer across all technological initiatives. My role will involve leading the design and implementation of technical solutions for various programs including CANES, NAVWAR initiatives, and Navy Cloud Brokerage, as well as collaborating with Marine Corps and IndoPACOM customers.
