Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- I have 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience.
- I am capable of collaborating and working independently to devise innovative solutions.
- I thrive in a small team environment and possess strong communication skills.
- I am a U.S. citizen and possess a DOD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- I develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- I analyze user requirements and develop software solutions tailored to their needs.
- I design or customize software for clients to enhance operational efficiency.
- I analyze and design databases within designated application areas, working alone or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- I conduct research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for diverse applications including medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing.
- I establish operational specifications and formulate as well as analyze software requirements.
- I design embedded systems software and provide technical and managerial leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments.
- I set goals and plans to achieve project objectives, leveraging my domain and expert technical knowledge.
- I direct and oversee client activities, maintaining overall responsibility for financial management, methodologies, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
- I engage in client negotiations and interact with senior management, where my decision-making and domain knowledge can significantly influence overall project implementation.
- I supervise team members, mentoring and coaching them to reach their professional potential.

Leadership Responsibilities: - I mentor and coach my direct reports. - I manage timekeeping for my team. - I conduct bi-annual performance check-ins and hold regular one-on-one sessions with my direct reports. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Operating Systems: Linux. - Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA and Confluence. - Knowledge of languages/frameworks like SAFe. - Proficiency in source control tools such as GIT. Pay Range: The expected pay range for this role is $126,100.00 - $227,950.00. This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors that may influence the offer include responsibilities of the role, education, experience, skills, and internal equity among other considerations.
