Lead Cyber Software Test Engineer

- Develop and manage Epics and User Stories based on user requirements - Present updates and findings to stakeholders and conduct usability testing - Lead a team of Agile Test Engineers in cross-functional software development efforts - Execute Agile testing in support of Cyber Software Development within SAFe and DevSecOps frameworks - Stay informed on failure/performance/yield analysis and suggest improvements for testing processes - Mentor and train test engineers and team members in Dev/Sec/Ops SAFe Agile practices - Create detailed Agile test plans, reports, methodologies, and equipment requirements to ensure product reliability - Collaborate with Developers and Test Automation Engineers to create automated tests that enhance regression testing efficiency - Liaise with Product Owners to resolve customer issues, defects, and feature requests - Establish test planning cycles along with sample testing methods - Consult with System Engineering and external testing teams for coordinating tests - Conduct analysis and diagnostics on products and provide preliminary evaluations - Assess developer testing processes and offer recommendations for enhancing unit and integration tests - Generate reports for each test activity and monitor test metrics in Jira - Engage with team members daily to ensure effective task delegation and accuracy - Provide technical guidance throughout significant projects including design, coding, testing, and debugging - Translate functional requirements into comprehensive test cases - Maintain the test environment and install necessary software updates for application support - Implement automated testing solutions - Conduct regression tests covering all operational test scenarios for deliverables - Develop detailed test plans and establish criteria for test acceptance - Prepare summarized test reports detailing results, anomalies, errors, and configuration changes - Support software configuration management processes and understand component interfaces - Validate specific functionalities of code and present results to customers - Assist in the implementation of automated regression testing within the software development team - Facilitate customer demonstrations, data preparation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
