A Doctorate in a technical field is also welcomed, and additional experience may compensate for formal education.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide critical support to the En Route Surveillance Team at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Understanding the technical needs of the En Route Surveillance Team and guiding system engineering for radar systems.
- Contributing to the system engineering plan, assessing alternatives regarding cost, risk, and supportability.
- Overseeing technical planning, as well as the design, development, integration, verification, and validation of system hardware, software, and networks.
- Facilitating open communication with system users, customers, managers, engineers, and technicians regarding issues and solutions.
- Performing various analyses, including mission, functional, performance, and requirements analyses.
- Defining potential system architectures, managing interfaces and interconnectivity, and conducting system analysis and modeling.
- Evaluating alternatives based on costs, risks, and system supportability.
- Monitoring hardware and software development, integration, and testing.
- Executing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, and quality assurance.

The position is integral to delivering operations support and engineering services for Long Range Radar systems.
