Requirements

Must:
- I am looking for a candidate who is a US Citizen with a Top Secret clearance. - You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of experience, or a Master's Degree; equivalent industry experience in lieu of education will be considered. - Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles is essential. - Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF) is required. - A strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies is necessary. - You should have familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must. - Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are important.

Responsibilities

- I will expect you to design, implement, and maintain secure cyber infrastructure systems and solutions. - You will monitor network and system security to identify and respond to vulnerabilities and incidents. - Conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate identified risks will be part of your duties. - Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the integration of security measures into all infrastructure projects will be critical. - You will develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive information. - Providing technical support and guidance on cybersecurity tools and technologies is required. - Staying updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends to enhance our organization’s security posture will be expected. - Additionally, you will develop and refine documentation to gain and maintain DoD accreditation for the systems on the program.

- Preferred qualifications include holding a DoD 8570 IAT Level II, IAM Level I, or DoD 8140 Intermediate certification or higher. - A working knowledge of cloud security and securing cloud-based infrastructure is beneficial. - Experience securing classified DoD networks, such as those connected to SIPR or JWICS, would be advantageous. - Knowledge of security information and event management (SIEM) tools is a plus. - Familiarity with incident response processes and tools will be useful. - You should have experience with scripting or automation tools for security tasks. - An ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities is important. - Experience using and interpreting vulnerability assessment or scanning tools such as Nessus is desired. - Additionally, certification in Reliability Engineering (CRE or similar) is preferable. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or other continuous improvement methodologies is valued. - Experience in a DoD program environment or with military stakeholders is a plus. - The anticipated pay range for this position is $55,250.00 - $99,875.00, reflecting a general guideline that is subject to change based on business needs and individual qualifications.
