Description

As a Junior Autonomy Systems Engineer at the Leidos Innovation Center in Huntsville, AL, I will serve on a team dedicated to developing and demonstrating contested autonomy and navigation technologies to meet urgent military operational needs in RF-challenged environments. I can expect to work with a variety of military autonomous vehicles, such as drones, unmanned underwater vehicles, and ground robots, alongside small teams in agile development settings. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience across various Systems Engineering disciplines and engage with customers early in my career. While expertise in specific areas may compensate for a lack of experience in others, I should be excited about taking on new tasks and acquiring new skills as needed. The preferred qualifications include experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as Cameo and MagicDraw, prior authorship of Systems Engineering artifacts for DoD programs, and experience interfacing with and briefing government customers. The pay range for this position is between $67,600.00 and $122,200.00. Please note that this range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors, such as responsibilities, experience, skills, and market alignment, will also be considered in determining the final offer.
