Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree and have over 15 years of relevant experience, or I possess a Master’s degree with 13 years of prior experience.
- I am highly proficient in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux (RHEL).
- I have experience with virtualization platforms, particularly VMware.
- I possess a strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
- I am familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- I have skills in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Terraform.
- I am knowledgeable in monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
- I have experience with configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or JIRA.
- I understand backup and disaster recovery systems.
- I have a background in identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory and LDAP.
- I possess a working knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements.
- I am familiar with NIST, STIGS, FISMA, or FedRAMP standards, and have experience implementing STIGs and hardening systems.
- I understand endpoint protection, SIEM integration, and vulnerability management.
- I have knowledge of zero-trust architecture and secure system design.
- I have the ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI.
Responsibilities
- I will create new design architectures and engineer enhancements to support the ITP mission.
- I will develop and maintain an architectural roadmap across all ITP infrastructure functions to guide the future of the ITP program.
- I will evaluate all ITP changes to assess functional, security, and cost risks.
- I will support engineering functions to design new solutions and strategies for supporting ITP functionality.
- I will assist in documenting to effectively capture the configuration baseline.
- I will support performance management to ensure key metrics are monitored and recorded to reflect the effectiveness and performance of the enterprise.
- I will develop presentation decks and artifacts to assist the customer in conveying the design and functional baseline of the ITP enterprise to stakeholders.
