Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline, along with a proven track record of performing technical management of DoD programs.
- A good understanding of modern cybersecurity, networks, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps is essential.
- I expect a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in information system security management.
- I need at least two years of team leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to work with distributed organizations while leading and managing a team.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- I also require CompTIA Security+ CE certification and a proven understanding, implementation, and management of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the DOD Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
- Hands-on knowledge and management of packages in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system are necessary.
- Strong skills in gaining internal consensus support, operating independently, and creating innovative ideas and solutions are essential.
- The ability to build positive relationships with technical and functional staff, managers, and peers across organizations is needed.
- I prefer prior experience with collaboration efforts outside of your immediate organization.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills are a must.
- I require hands-on knowledge of vulnerability scanning and reporting tools, such as ACAS.
Responsibilities
- I will lead cybersecurity staff to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction by maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) certifications and high performance on cybersecurity.
- I will support the Program Manager in ensuring organizational compliance with Leidos policies and procedures.
- I will oversee Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and perform duties as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the program.
- I will monitor all available resources for warnings of system vulnerabilities or ongoing attacks.
- I will coordinate personnel on system security compliance and Information System Authority to Operate.
- I will ensure that configuration management policies and procedures for authorizing hardware and software on information systems are followed.
- I will coordinate Information Security Reviews, Security Inspections, and Tests.
- I will assess system security threats and risks.
- I will validate system security requirements definitions and analyses.
- I will assist with the assessment and authorization processes as needed.
- I will track and validate security incidents and may be required to investigate, document, report, and provide future protective and corrective measures in response to such incidents.
- I will ensure that proper measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered.
- I will lead leadership briefings on system security compliance and ATO compliance, including expiration and required actions.
- I will implement the RMF methodology to successfully establish an information technology process that effectively protects the organization’s information assets and mission capabilities.
- I will populate and maintain RMF databases (eMASS) with bodies of evidence to support system authorization actions.
- I will ensure that data stewardship (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) is established for each information system, and that specific requirements are enforced.
Description
Preferred qualifications include certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), knowledge of innovative industry business models and corresponding market solutions, experience in engaging a diverse workforce of employees and subcontractors, experience with DISA network management, cloud computing and infrastructure (such as AWS and Azure), familiarity with Splunk or Elastic, experience in virtual computing environments, and experience with common and uncommon DoD cybersecurity tools. While this job description is subject to change based on business needs, we anticipate that the job requisition will remain open for at least three days. The anticipated pay range for this position is $101,400.00 - $183,300.00. This range serves as a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation; factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment will be considered when extending an offer.
