Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Network Engineer on programs and/or contracts with the customer space
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and US Citizenship
- CASP OR CISSP certification
- Strong writing skills
- Expertise in network technology and systems security engineering
- Experience with NIST Special Publications 800 Series, CNSSI 1253, and DoD 8500
- Hands-on experience implementing security and/or network components
- Ability to work independently and present briefings to senior level DoD officials
Responsibilities
- Perform technical security assessments and validate system security requirements
- Design, develop, implement, and integrate IA and security systems and components
- Assist in the identification and implementation of information security functionality
- Support the building of security architectures and enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architecture
- Assess and mitigate system security threats/risk throughout the program life cycle
- Contribute to security planning, risk analysis, and awareness activities for system and networking operations
- Review C&A documentation and provide feedback on completeness and compliance
Description
As an ISSE at Leidos, you will join a team of senior professionals providing Information Assurance (IA) Architecture Analysis and Security Engineering Support for the implementation and fielding of the National Leadership Command Capability. The role offers a lot of variety and keeps you sharp in various areas of cyber. The pay range for this position is $101,400.00 - $183,300.00. The job requisition is expected to stay open for at least 3 days from the original posting date, with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date.
