Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred). - Over 12 years of experience in IT/cybersecurity (or 6+ years with a Masters). - At least 5 years of experience as an ISSO for major federal information systems/applications. - Strong foundation in systems engineering with proven expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar). - Practical experience with AI/ML tools for cybersecurity, including anomaly detection and automated risk assessment. - Familiarity with auditing security controls, risk management, and compliance reporting. - Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills. - Comprehensive understanding of Information Assurance, Information Management, and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). Preferred Qualifications: - ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). - ISC2 Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC). - ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). - CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+). - Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer). - Experience in designing and assessing AI governance frameworks and secure AI model deployment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee cybersecurity for significant CBP applications and support systems. - Implement ISSO expertise in hybrid enterprise environments, including cloud-native platforms and virtualized infrastructure. - Integrate AI/ML security tools into security operations and compliance protocols. - Develop and validate all information systems security plans and related authorization documents. - Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-37 and CBP security policies for assigned systems. - Create and maintain security documentation including System Security Plans and Risk Assessment Plans. - Assist in reporting and managing security violations and incidents affecting systems. - Facilitate technical evaluations of threats and vulnerabilities linked to new and enhanced technologies. - Support the development of cybersecurity standard operating procedures and processes to improve capabilities. - Ensure alignment of cloud-based systems and AI applications with Zero Trust principles and CBP policy. - Lead evaluations of threats and risks specific to cloud workloads and AI technologies. - Manage vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation across hybrid infrastructures.
