Hypersonic Systems Engineer

We are seeking candidates with over 8 years of experience in the aerospace engineering field, specifically with a focus on hypersonics. A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline is required. You should be capable of generating solutions for technical challenges in hypersonic weapon system development and supporting the development of junior team members through mentorship. Strong communication skills are necessary to convey issues and results effectively to both internal team members and external customers. You should be adept at understanding customer objectives and creating execution plans to meet their needs. A clear track record of providing regular written and verbal execution status is essential. Specific engineering skills required include: - System Requirements Generation and Decomposition - Trade Study Execution - System Integration and Interface Coordination - Verification and Validation Experience in multiple domains essential for hypersonic systems, such as: - Aerodynamics / CFD - Aerothermal - Trajectory Simulation - Material Response - Mechanical Design - Structural Analysis (FEA) - Thermal Analysis - Ground and Flight Test Planning and Execution Please note that you must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret clearance; Top Secret is preferred.
