Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a successful candidate with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Over 8 years of experience in software development, particularly with strong expertise in C/C++ programming
- Familiarity with Government open architectures for real-time systems, such as Big Iron or Cobra
- Proficiency with NVIDIA development and profiling tools and libraries, including Compute Sanitizer, NCU, cuBLAS, cuFFT, cuSOLVER, and cuRAND
- Experience utilizing version control systems (e.g., Subversion, GIT) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- An active Secret level security clearance with the capacity to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take on various responsibilities, including:
- Contributing to the design and development of advanced systems as part of multi-disciplinary teams composed of software specialists and subject matter experts in systems engineering, hardware, firmware, machine learning, RF front-end design, and signal processing.
- Managing key project/program objectives and deliverables across multiple technical areas.
- Applying a solid understanding of GPU programming and parallel computing architectures.
- Working with signal processing algorithms created in MATLAB and parallelizing these algorithms.
- Breaking down complex signal processing chains into manageable components and kernels.
- Crafting specific CUDA kernels to enhance performance.
- Designing and implementing multi-threaded software architectures.
- Developing and testing high-speed data transfer and latency codes.
- Creating real-time C/C++ software for multi-core systems running Linux or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks.
- Building software products utilizing third-party mathematics and communication libraries.
- Interfacing with communication standards/protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
- Engaging with the Linux operating system alongside real-time operating systems.
- Designing and testing software to configure and control RF hardware devices.
- Documenting the systems developed.
- Supporting system field testing and collection activities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
