Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited institution. - Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience. - Strong teamwork skills and a solid foundation in one or more of the following areas: - Modern C++ development - NVIDIA CUDA GPU development/optimization - VHDL/Verilog for FPGA development - Real-time Linux and device driver development - ZeroMQ and/or other messaging frameworks - Qt GUI development - Willingness to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. - Ability to apply skills to radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) system development, implement digital signal processing and tracking algorithms, and conduct field testing of sensor systems. - Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance. - Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Responsibilities

- Support the design, implementation, and integration of advanced radar technologies into both new and existing sensor programs. - Engage in software development and system integration tasks, including high-speed data acquisition, data distribution, real-time signal processing, and modular software design. - Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom technologies into prototype sensor systems. - Participate in field testing of RF sensors and systems, and support CONUS/OCONUS deployment of advanced sensor systems. - Tackle a variety of tasks related to the design and implementation of real-time prototype sensors. - Collaborate closely with experienced engineers while gaining exposure to a broad array of software and computer engineering technologies.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Matlab, an understanding of signal processing fundamentals such as sampling and Fourier analysis, and familiarity with collaboration and development tools like GIT, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines. Compensation for this position ranges from $81,250.00 to $146,875.00, with final offers determined by job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
