Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor's degree and over 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. We also accept additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a minimum of 4 years experience in a client-facing role.
- At least 3 years of administration experience with cloud-based applications (such as MS O365, SharePoint, Azure AD, AWS).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages including Python, Java, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools, for instance, Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- A strong grasp of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid knowledge of security principles, which should include threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and encryption techniques.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK Stack.
- A robust understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and version control systems like Git.
- Desirable hands-on experience with Databricks and Kafka.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and we will consider those with TS/SCI.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate secure and automated software delivery.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of virtual machines via VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Help configure and maintain virtualized environments, ensuring reliable performance, scalability, and security.
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization by integrating virtualization and automation solutions within hybrid cloud settings.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
- Assist in deploying automated security instruments for vulnerability scanning, application testing (SAST/DAST), and container security.
- Help with the deployment and administration of applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Monitor and ensure system availability, scalability, and performance across both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Support the configuration and management of containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Engage in establishing and maintaining monitoring solutions to guarantee system reliability and performance visibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges, aiding in root cause analysis and documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to advance DevSecOps initiatives and improve workflows.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices.
