Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related analytical field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Strong grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design principles
- Proficient in relational databases, SQL, and API-based data querying
- Experience in developing predictive algorithms, image classifiers, and object detectors
- Skilled in data visualization and graphical applications such as PowerBI
- Familiar with major data science programming languages like R and Python
- Capable of managing and merging various data sources using R, Python, or SQL
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis to convert data into narrative products for informed decision-making.
- Design and develop data management systems while collaborating with data users to enhance architectures and systems.
- Choose and configure backend database technologies and optimize efficient data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming structured and unstructured data tailored to intelligence requirements.
- Implement automated processes for integrating multiple datasets, conducting large-scale data research, and crafting scripts for efficient data handling.
- Work together with collection managers and computer scientists to develop new data processes and algorithms for automated collection strategies.
- Participate in briefings, meetings, and working groups to provide counsel and resolve issues as requested by the Government.
- Support various simultaneous projects, taking open-ended guidance, and work both independently and collaboratively to discover mission-relevant insights, presenting findings to a non-technical audience.
