- Excellent communication skills are essential; you should be able to effectively engage with management, technical personnel, and third parties.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field along with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience is required.
- You should have experience with IoT platforms and devices.
- A robust understanding of cyber risk and treatment approaches in both traditional on-premise platforms and in private and public cloud technologies is necessary.
- Familiarity with integrating risk management framework activities into the system development lifecycle (SDLC) is required, including the selection, implementation, and validation of security controls.
- Prior experience in creating and maintaining key security documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), Risk Assessments, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) is essential.
- You must have experience reviewing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risk and relevance and in planning vulnerability mitigations/remediations for identified systems, networks, applications, and databases.
- Proficiency in architecting, designing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying vulnerability scanning solutions is expected.
- The ability to obtain and sustain a Public Trust clearance (which necessitates three years of immediate residency in the US) is required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will define and shape security architectures across new captures and lead our approach to Secure by Design. You will develop security strategies, documentation, and methodologies.
- You will be expected to operate with minimal direction across a range of projects or bids.
- Your responsibilities will include engaging and interfacing with security design partners, customer and supplier representatives, and colleagues from our engineering, service, and business development teams.
- You will ensure that we can establish and maintain effective and adaptable C-ITS security architectures that evolve with changing customer needs, legislation, and assurance standards.
- Within specific projects or bids, you will primarily focus on developing and delivering the cybersecurity components of solutions while maintaining a holistic understanding.
