Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship. - Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher, and be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. - Minimum of 7+ years of direct staff management experience in the delivery of information systems or computer network support services for IT operations. - Possess a current DoD 8140 compliant certification; preference is for CISSP. - Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders. - Ability to create and lead a highly motivated and skilled workforce of cybersecurity professionals. - Experience with cybersecurity policy oversight and governance. - Experience with cybersecurity performance, quality, and inspection metrics. - Ability to ensure contract deliverables are provided on schedule and with appropriate accuracy and completeness. - Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. - Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas. - Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with quick-response deadlines. - Experience managing a high number of personnel, including responsibility for annual performance reviews. - Experience with Air Force cybersecurity policies. - Experience working in both Classified and Unclassified operations.

Responsibilities

- I will report to the Cybersecurity Program Manager and be responsible for the technical performance of the Leidos and Subcontractor staff under my leadership. - I will interface with the customer for management and technical matters and address contract-level issues. - I will provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish operational requirements and manage and oversee cybersecurity activities performed by the assigned teams, including subcontractors, to satisfy customer contract requirements.

We currently have an opening for a Cybersecurity Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) program. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and hands-on management for the delivery of mission-enabling cybersecurity. This role is supervisory and critical to the success of the cybersecurity program, leading a talented team of cybersecurity professionals in developing, operating, and maintaining mission-critical cybersecurity support. The Cybersecurity Manager will primarily work from Joint Base Andrews but may also work remotely, at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, or at the Pentagon occasionally, depending on mission needs. As part of the Digital Modernization Sector, I will focus on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions while integrating commercial products for a comprehensive digital engineering approach to IT transformation. We anticipate this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days, with an expected close date no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date. The anticipated pay range for this position is $122,200.00 - $220,900.00, depending on various factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, and market data.
