Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a similar field and have eight (8) or more years of experience in a relevant area. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - I have experience with or knowledge of the 5 stages of the joint event life cycle (JETC) as it pertains to training events. - I possess expertise in Network Hardware Design and Configuration, Network Troubleshooting, and Network Performance Tuning. - I am proficient in Linux and Windows, network administration, and various networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS). - I have experience configuring, managing, and implementing network access control lists. - I am knowledgeable in Cisco switching and WAN/LAN technologies. - I am experienced with MS Active Directory and VMware NSX-T virtual networking. - I have worked with security monitoring platforms, such as Security Onion or Splunk. - I am familiar with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). - I have experience with commercial cloud infrastructure deployment environments such as AWS and Azure. - I am a self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with engineers and customers. - I can manage and prioritize multiple tasks and requirements from stakeholders. - I possess a minimum Top Secret level clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. - I hold a DoD 8570 certification, such as Security+, CCNA, CISSP, or an equivalent.

Responsibilities

- I will be responsible for operational planning in support of training, exercises, operations, and the coordination of integrated cyber operations. - I will provide network administration support for the development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation of the enterprise network environment. - I will support large-scale cyber exercises and multi-spectrum cyber operations, engaging in both defensive and offensive activities. - I will collaborate with cyber operators to provide cyber range expertise, enabling DCO and OCO operations for Cyber Command. - I will translate cyber mission force training and mission rehearsal goals into actionable event environments. - I will support the design and execution of cyber range training events. - I will provide expertise in architecture, virtual environments, networking, authentication, and system security. - I will coach and review the work of lower-level technical staff. - I will focus on continuous process improvement across the training event activities. - I will work with stakeholders (customers, users, developers, vendors) regarding requirement changes that impact the training environment.
