Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 3+ years in a comparable role
- More than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Active Secret clearance is essential to begin
- U.S. citizenship is required
- CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II) or an equivalent certification is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Provide support for Incident Response (IR) and security operations within the USAF Cloud One enterprise cloud environment
- Collaborate closely with Government ISSOs, ISSMs, Authorizing Officials (AOs), Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSPs), and engineering teams to maintain ATO compliance and enhance the security posture
- Detect, mitigate, and manage cyber incidents utilizing various technology solutions and processes to ensure rapid resolution of security issues
- Investigate security incidents following DFARS compliance
- Gather and evaluate intelligence to link adversary tactics, techniques, and methodologies
- Conduct forensic analysis for networks and hosts, while supporting intrusion detection and threat hunting efforts
- Perform device scanning tasks including discovery, OS fingerprinting, and service scanning
- Ensure adherence to SCCA and Cloud SRG guidelines
- Assist in configuring AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP environments securely
- Maintain and update RMF authorization documentation in accordance with DoDI standards
- Aid in Continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) processes within a cloud or DevSecOps environment
- Participate in maintenance and sustainment of ATO processes for C1 and DPaaS environments
- Track Authority to Use (ATU) conditions and remediation as directed by AOs
- Support the Government ISSO/ISSM in maintaining compliance with cybersecurity regulations
- Facilitate security control assessments, audit preparation, and third-party cybersecurity evaluations
