Requirements

Must:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position. - A Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering field with over 4 years of experience supporting national security projects. - A minimum of 4 years of relevant System Engineering experience. - Experience as a Developer, Researcher, or End User with technologies designed to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction. - An understanding of DoD Acquisition processes and the “Systems Engineering V” relating requirements to specifications. - The ability to collaborate professionally with diverse clients across the national security and intelligence communities, including experience briefing clients with and without deep technical knowledge. - Availability to travel 25-33%.

- I will communicate with the client program manager who is ultimately seeking to use specific technology, as well as with the scientific/technical organization developing that technology. - My work will involve translating functional needs into technical specifications, interpreting and designing functional tests, presenting and validating technical results, and developing technical criteria for the transition of technologies to end users. - I will seek novel applications or end-users for counter-WMD technologies in development.

Description

Our team innovates with cutting-edge technologies to utilize nontraditional sensing modalities, progressing from advanced concepts through laboratory and field testing to transition our work to military organizations for advanced development and fielding. Successful performance in this role demands sensitivity to client and operational customer needs, thorough analysis of system specifications, and a detailed understanding of relevant test and demonstration requirements. We also value experience with design techniques such as circuit analysis and design, programming and debugging, or machining and manufacturing. Familiarity with novel technologies of interest to the DoD, including AI/ML, additive manufacturing, space-based communications, and synthetic biology, as well as advanced WMD sensing methodologies such as acoustics, hyperspectral imaging, or standoff chemical detection, would be a plus. We anticipate that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an expected close date no earlier than 3 days from the original posting date. The anticipated pay range for this position is $85,150.00 - $153,925.00. However, this range is a general guideline and various factors will be considered in extending an offer.
