Requirements
Must:
- I hold a BS degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree coupled with 10+ years of experience; I understand that additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- I possess exceptional customer service skills and have worked in a customer-facing role for at least 6 years.
- I have a minimum of 6 years of administrative experience with cloud applications (MS O365, SharePoint, Azure AD, AWS).
- I am experienced in administering Windows Server and related services.
- I have a strong grasp of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, as well as related standards, procedures, and processes.
- I demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- I am familiar with tools including Ansible, AWS console, Elastic, Azure, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, and various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
- I have experience onboarding customer log data from AWS and Azure to on-premise or cloud-based analysis environments like Elastic or Splunk.
- I can obtain an Entry of Duty (EOD) Public Trust.
- I am capable of performing day-to-day operational support activities, including issue troubleshooting and assisting with change and problem management processes.
- I support AWS Cloud hosted applications in aspects such as deployments, patches, security checks, and maintenance.
- I provide assistance and troubleshoot applications deployed on AWS.
- I offer guidance in enhancing administrative processes and procedures.
- I collaborate with SMEs and the Security Team to define secure cloud architecture.
- I create and update standard operating procedures and operational processes.
- I am skilled in Windows Server creation, configuration, upgrading, migration, and patching.
- I understand that this position requires applicants to possess TS/SCI clearance.
- I must have, at a minimum, one of the following certifications: MCSE (Server), Certified AWS SysAdmin, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, or any AWS Certified Solutions Architect designation (Dev/Associate), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect.
Responsibilities
- I will design and create scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions utilizing AWS and/or Azure.
- I plan to develop cloud strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational goals and technical needs.
- I will produce reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations.
- I will lead architectural reviews and offer guidance on intricate technical decisions.
- I will mentor and oversee development teams on cloud-native application design and deployment.
- I will evaluate emerging cloud technologies and analyze their potential impact on our goals.
- I will promote the adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code frameworks, and automation processes.
- I will facilitate customer onboarding and establish a consistent approach to cloud adoption.
- I aim to optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments.
- I will design secure cloud architectures that implement zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies.
- I will ensure compliance with industry standards (such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and regulatory requirements.
- I will implement identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks.
- I will conduct security assessments and address vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
- I will collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- I will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, security, and product management.
- I will present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership.
- I will create and maintain thorough technical documentation.
