Cloud Solutions Engineer

- I will design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, identity, and governance) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - I will architect and configure virtual networks (VNets), network security groups (NSGs), ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, private endpoints, and load balancers in Azure. - I will integrate and optimize hybrid cloud connectivity (on-prem to Azure), ensuring compliance with performance, redundancy, and security standards. - I will implement and manage configurations for Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door to ensure secure and resilient application delivery. - I will automate provisioning and configuration processes using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates integrated with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab). - I will collaborate with application and security teams to enforce zero trust and network segmentation principles. - I will troubleshoot and optimize DNS, routing, latency, and firewall rules across hybrid environments. - I will support monitoring, alerting, and performance enhancement through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher. - I will maintain compliance with relevant DoD/NIST, FedRAMP, or enterprise security frameworks as applicable. - I will design, deploy, and manage virtual cloud server infrastructures in hybrid settings (on-premises and cloud). - I will maintain and enhance virtualization platforms, such as VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or cloud-native virtualization solutions. - I will implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for deployment automation. - I will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - I will monitor cloud resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency and scalability. - I will troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve system and application-related challenges. - I will function within a DevSecOps framework, ensuring infrastructure compliance with security, operational, and performance standards. - I will support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into the development lifecycle. - I will implement containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to enhance support for microservices architectures. - I will configure and maintain monitoring tools to guarantee the availability and performance of systems and applications.
