Requirements

Must:
- I have experience interacting with customers to handle service inquiries and problems. - I have worked as a Tier 3 system administrator and am familiar with using desktop software applications such as web browsing, client software, and IT Service Management software. - I possess knowledge of IC IT standards and best practices. - I have extensive knowledge of Citrix technologies including XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler, and StoreFront. - I have extensive experience with patch and upgrade methodology for front-end and back-end systems based on Citrix technology. - I am experienced in rapid testing, validation, and deployment of new baseline images. - I have extensive experience conducting incident and trend analysis via log review, performance baselining/review, and other incident/problem management techniques. - I have experience with Scripting/Automation. - I am adept at troubleshooting issues in a growing environment. - I possess good time management skills. - I have strong oral and written communication skills. - I have a track record of working effectively within a team and supporting peers toward improved processes and results. - I am familiar with support ticket management systems. - I have experience mentoring or supervising others. - I meet DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) and hold an appropriate computing environment (CE) certification.

Responsibilities

- I will perform remote administration of servers located in offsite data centers. - I will provide Tier 3 operations support, efficiently distinguishing isolated user problems from service outages for Citrix technologies. - I will monitor the Citrix infrastructure, identifying system anomalies before they impact customers. - I will work closely with Engineering staff to plan future modernization efforts to meet customer and administrator requirements. - I will collaborate to perform network latency analysis to address slow connections and user experience issues promptly. - I will implement version and architectural changes to existing, approved systems to maintain operability and security. - I will coordinate with other teams for testing and deployment of Group Policy modifications. - I will perform periodic backup and restoration of servers. - I will monitor desktop capacity to size the environment based on typical usage trends. - I will keep track of License and Certificate status on the systems, coordinating renewal and installation as needed. - I will coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, and develop solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements. - I will establish a comprehensive availability and capacity management solution using lessons learned. - I will develop solutions to technical issues. - I will provide follow-up reports for root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives. - I will periodically review, update, and generate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for systems and services under my control. - I will update operations and monitoring documentation for 24/7/365 IT watch personnel. - I will provide mentorship and training for junior team members.

Pay Range: The pay range for this job level is between $87,100.00 and $157,450.00. This range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and applicable laws.
