Requirements
Must:
- I require a high school diploma and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- I seek someone with experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
- You should have experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features.
- I value knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
- The ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases is essential.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will perform Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production through Cartographic and GIS analyst functions.
- You will extract features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
- Your responsibilities will include updating source and source catalogs and information.
- You will be tasked with data conversion and migration.
- Additionally, you will write and generate scripts to improve the efficiency of our production process.
Description
- Preferred qualifications include a BA degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required, with a willingness to obtain a polygraph upon request.
- The pay range for this position is between $57,850.00 - $104,575.00, subject to change based on business needs and other factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
