Requirements

Must:
- Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance - DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) - DoD 8570 CSSP-Analyst certification (CEH, CySA, or other) - Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience as a communications leader; military or relevant experience may substitute for a degree - 3+ years in the Information Technology sector - CND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) in a Computer Incident Response organization - Proven knowledge of order processing and tracking within a large organization - Proficiency in incident handling procedures - Experience delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual reports - Supervisory experience, including managing shift workers - Understanding of network threat life cycles, attack vectors, and intelligence-driven defense methodologies - Experience in a 24x7 environment

Responsibilities

- Assist the Joint Network Operation and Support Center (JNOSC) Battle Captain and Cyber Center Security Chief with cyber defense and network assurance tasks. - Manage all network defense operations and ensure familiarity with the process flow and execution. - Keep abreast of important directives, orders, alerts, and messages; prepare and present daily situational awareness and operational updates. - Act as a Defensive Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert during 24/7 operations. - Lead personnel at the CSWO desk: - Serve as the central point for all CSWO tasks and operations. - Deliver written reports and oral briefings to the Government Task Lead and PMO Team. - Conduct annual performance evaluations and regular check-ins. - Approve time charges for Leidos and vendor staff. - Provide coaching and mentoring to team members. - Develop and implement strategies for Continual Service Improvement to enhance operational processes and achieve strategic project goals.
