Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of experience as a System Administrator, or an Associate Degree with 10+ years, or a Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- I currently hold a Secret clearance and am eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- I possess a DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
- I have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- I can effectively interface with security agencies, customers, and management.
- I am experienced in managing multiple networks in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- I am familiar with Risk Management Framework requirements for both Windows and Linux systems.
Responsibilities
- I will set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices, with additional experience in Linux being advantageous.
- I am responsible for establishing complex server OS structures and clusters.
- I will manage policies from creation through to configuration changes and prioritization.
- I will embrace and apply new technologies to fulfill evolving requirements.
- I will contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure assistance.
- I will build out racks based on provided elevations and contribute to their configuration.
- I am tasked with documenting system configurations and baselines.
- I will provide backup and recovery services and manage file systems and disk space.
- I will use desktop and server virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and ESXi.
- I will handle ticket load and prioritize daily on-site support and troubleshooting tasks.
- I will work on multiple projects as a team member and occasionally lead projects.
- I will manage user accounts and access control in both domain and stand-alone environments.
- I will ensure the proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
- I will troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system issues on both servers and workstations.
