Security Systems Manager

- Assist with the installation, configuration, and upkeep of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and related technologies and applications. - Oversee personnel and operations in all security areas, including the Command Centers at the Dean and Event Levels. - Uphold high standards for security equipment, which includes inventory management, maintenance, and distribution for security staff. - Work closely with external contractors to ensure optimal functionality of security systems and equipment. - Ensure adequate staffing levels for operating security systems during events; effectively brief, deploy, and reassign staff as necessary to maintain smooth operations. - Implement and track the daily event and non-event badging system to ensure proper access control and security compliance. - Facilitate thorough training and information-sharing for staff about security systems operations and create training programs to enhance employee skill sets. - Conduct routine assessments and audits of security systems to spot any weaknesses and execute necessary upgrades to preserve the systems integrity. - Manage the execution of events at Barclays Center, ensuring adherence to security protocols and attendee safety. - Respond quickly to requests from upper management, risk management, and other departments regarding investigations, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required information and footage. - Offer comprehensive administrative support, completing projects, tasks, and updates for security forms, databases, and office records to ensure effective security operations. - Develop, manage, and update departmental policies and procedural guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Collaborate closely with the IT department for seamless integration of security systems within the IT infrastructure, enhancing communication and troubleshooting. - Cultivate positive relationships with customers and local, state, and federal authorities, including law enforcement agencies. - Foster and implement a sustainable security culture. - Ensure that the process for corporate personnel security actions aligns with governing laws, regulations, and customer contractual requirements. - Assist in confidential investigations, ensuring swift and precise provision of required information and footage.
