Requirements
Must:
- Over 2 years of experience in help-desk, desktop support, or CMS/HR operations support.
- Proficient in setting up workstations and resolving typical hardware or peripheral issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with the capability to manage changing tasks and perform urgent on-site deliveries.
- Physically able to lift and carry equipment and supplies.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience within a law firm or legal setting.
- Familiarity with Filevine management or similar legal CMS platforms.
- Knowledge in Windows/macOS administration, mobile device configuration, and commonly used office software.
- Background in documenting processes and creating user manuals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the HR content management system including user accounts, permissions, content updates, templates, workflows, and periodic audits.
- Train employees on CMS functionality, basic troubleshooting methods, and standard operating procedures; create quick-reference materials.
- Support the HR Operations Manager with onboarding/offboarding related to hardware provisioning, software access configuration, inventory management, and documenting processes.
- Resolve software issues tied to CMS platforms, productivity applications like Microsoft Office, and enterprise tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and SCCM.
- Provide first-level help-desk assistance to staff and escalate issues to IT as necessary: set up new workstations, install peripherals, configure printers, replace basic hardware components, and troubleshoot common operating system and connectivity problems.
- Maintain inventory of computer hardware, execute hardware repairs or replacements, and ensure devices are functioning optimally.
- Deliver technical support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Assist with the rollout of software updates; monitor system performance; analyze logs for troubleshooting; thoroughly document resolutions.
- Work alongside teams to enhance the help CMS.
- Act as an on-site runner: deliver documents, manage physical file transfers, and support HR events and logistics.
