Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Practical experience with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks, having shipped real applications
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, comfortable with both front-end and back-end development
- Solid background in modern web application development
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Git
- Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding when to utilize each
- Experience working in agile environments, demonstrating adaptability
- Additional skills that would be advantageous include:
- Familiarity with AI coding tools for innovative development
- A proactive approach to security considerations
- Experience mentoring fellow developers
- DevOps mindset including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the project. Lead the transition from proof of concept to production by designing, developing, deploying, and iterating using Claude Code and related technologies.
- Develop code with intention. Leverage AI-assisted tools to ensure efficient development without compromising quality.
- Design for growth. Create robust application infrastructure that can scale as our needs evolve.
- Collaborate with various functional teams. Engage with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into effective solutions.
- Elevate team performance. Mentor less experienced developers, conduct code reviews, and enhance the teams technical standards.
- Stay updated. Keep pace with the rapidly changing AI landscape, experimenting and applying relevant advancements in our work.
- Troubleshoot effectively. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Improve system performance. Optimize and enhance existing applications to ensure they are efficient and scalable.
- Implement strong application architectures. Manage the development of robust, scalable, and secure applications.
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain thorough documentation for code and application architecture.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for coding and application security standards.
