Requirements
Must:
- Associates or bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related area (or equivalent experience)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk position, ideally within a professional services environment; recent graduates with under one year of experience will also be considered
- Strong proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking principles; Mac experience is a plus
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Capacity to prioritize and juggle various tasks in a dynamic setting
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, technical support, and documentation
- Familiarity with remote support tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Experience with accounting software and best practices for data security is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for internal technical support via phone, email, or in person
- Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist in testing and evaluating new equipment and systems
- Oversee network user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals
- Record support inquiries and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system
- Aid in the onboarding and offboarding process of employees concerning technology
- Set up and deploy new computers for staff use
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers when necessary
