Requirements
Must:
- Self-motivated individual who does not need constant supervision
- Experience in supporting, diagnosing, and configuring IT devices
- Practical knowledge of both Apple and PC hardware
- Understanding of Windows operating systems; MacOS knowledge is a bonus but not essential
- Basic grasp of networking principles and command-line interface
- Familiarity with antivirus and anti-malware solutions
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and tickets
- Seeking a candidate who proactively identifies and resolves root causes of issues
- Proficient in the Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Eagerness to learn and address challenges beyond current expertise
- Associate degree in computer science or a similar field preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant experience with computer hardware and software
Responsibilities
- Manage existing end-user devices and handle help desk functions
- Diagnose issues related to printers, scanners, and password management
- Address daily help desk support requests promptly and effectively
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up and restoring equipment
- Deploy equipment for new team members
- Create, modify, and manage accounts and services across various platforms
- Conduct hardware and software upgrades on desktop systems
- Provide basic training for end users on Office Suite applications
- Oversee hardware and software inventories
