Hospitality Maintenance Technician

- A high school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or a related field is necessary. - At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or a similar field is preferred. - Trade school or college coursework in a related field is advantageous. - Flexibility regarding hours is sometimes necessary. - The role requires heavy physical work, including lifting over 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently. - Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with all levels of employees and guests in a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented manner. - The ability to listen to, understand, and address concerns raised by employees and guests is crucial. - Must be adept at multitasking and prioritizing departmental needs to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Attend all required meetings and training sessions. - Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Highgate Hotel Standards, adjusting to the hotel's scheduling needs. - Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag. - Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations. - Strive for productivity, identify issues, and help implement solutions when needed. - Effectively address problems by anticipating, identifying, and resolving them as necessary. - Interpret and apply complex information and data from various sources to meet relevant objectives. - Cross-train in other hotel-related areas as required. - Maintain the confidentiality of information. - Show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs. - Carry out other duties assigned by management.
