Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and microservices using Python
- Create RESTful APIs utilizing FastAPI
- Write reusable, scalable, and optimized code according to best practices
- Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing flows
- Work with both structured and unstructured data using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- Optimize data pipelines for enhanced performance and reliability
- Create Python scripts for DevOps automation and monitoring tasks
- Develop utilities to facilitate CI/CD, cloud deployment, and environment management
- Write unit, integration, and API tests using pytest
- Implement runtime type validation and quality assurance using Beartype
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and debug code across development, QA, and production environments
