Requirements
Must:
- 4-year technical degree or a 2-year technical degree with 2 years of networking systems experience
- 5 years in IP-based networking and electronic security systems or equivalent education and experience
- Strong dedication to high-quality work and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in basic electricity, including AC/DC theory, Ohms Law, and proficient with a digital volt/ohm meter
- Advanced understanding of IP-based physical security systems
- Extensive experience with IP-based and electronic communication systems
- Deep comprehension of network and computer operating systems
- Proficient with networking devices, techniques, operating systems, and protocols
- Skilled in programming, scripting, and integration protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications
- Familiar with drafting software, word processors, and spreadsheets
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Valid drivers license allowing legal operation of a motor vehicle
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to customers, technicians, and sales teams to ensure efficient operation of hardware and software
- Install, configure, integrate, and optimize Security Solutions products and technologies
- Conduct end-user training sessions
- Interact directly with customers and team members to solve installation and configuration issues
- Travel to customer sites, remote offices, and other locations as necessary
- Design, install, and support physical security systems like access control and video management
- Configure and support IP-based networks and communication systems
- Offer integration services for building systems using programming and standard protocols
- Monitor and analyze systems to optimize customer investments
- Prepare system engineering documentation following established standards and manufacturer recommendations
