Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or IT with over 4 years of experience in a related field OR a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in place of a degree.
- Active Secret level government clearance.
- CISSP or CSSLP certification is mandatory. Proof of certification is required.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with usability testing, prototyping, and user research techniques.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and create responsive websites, web applications, and digital interfaces.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Apply UX principles to deliver intuitive, accessible, and user-centric experiences.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and fine-tune requirements.
- Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frameworks.
- Ensure compatibility across different browsers, optimize performance, and ensure scalability.
- Conduct usability testing and integrate feedback into design refinements.
- Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
- Adhere to accessibility standards in all designs.
- Assist in the integration of web interfaces with backend systems and APIs.
- Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and engaging web interfaces.
- Review code to ensure proper structure, compliance with industry standards, and compatibility with browsers and devices.
- Optimize website performance and server-side processes.
- May assist in developing website infrastructure and integrating with additional applications.
Description
Connected Logistics is searching for a Front End UI/UX Design Developer II with a CISSP certification to contribute to asset creation and UX strategy and design leadership. This hybrid role supports Navy leadership in managing multi-billion dollar acquisition programs through our Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and other digital tools. We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000.00 to $118,000.00 USD based on experience and geographic location, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a robust 401(k) plan, and generous Paid Time Off.
