Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or equivalent
- Relevant lean/process improvement or Agile certification/training (i.e., SAFe, Six Sigma)
- Active Secret security clearance
- At least 10 years of program and/or portfolio management experience overseeing enterprise contracts of a similar scale, with a successful project management track record
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience engaging with C-suite, SES, or GO level stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Previous experience with the U.S. Army at the brigade level or above
- Experience leading a technical team in the GovTech field
- Understanding of Cloud Computing, with preferred certification such as AWS CCP
- Domain expertise in at least one technical area such as cyber (RMF/ATO), networking, cloud computing, or data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary team member supporting our Army client
- Oversee essential processes including acquisition, logistics, program management, task/workstream governance, change management, strategic communications, stakeholder support, and budgeting
- Develop a Program Management Plan (PMP) to outline specific program and project management methodologies
- Create work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and activity plans across all task areas, deliverables, resource utilization, program risks and mitigations
- Identify program control and contract reporting requirements to effectively monitor the teams program performance, schedules, costs, and other deliverables
- Manage complex projects, defining client goals, needs, and ensuring appropriate resource allocation
- Monitor team performance to ensure projects are executed and completed in alignment with key milestones
- Build and maintain positive relationships with team members and client leadership
- Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and allocate resources for each project
- Track costs, schedules, and performance, and prepare necessary documentation along with project-specific policies and procedures
- Handle staffing needs, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution
- Assign tasks and oversee personnel to ensure excellent service delivery
- Prepare and submit monthly reports timely, ensuring high quality and accuracy
- Create presentation materials, organize meetings, take minutes, and prepare after-action reports for technical reviews
- Guarantee program compliance with governmental and corporate policies and directives from governing entities.
