Requirements

Must:
- Must possess the ability to secure a Secret Clearance. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline. - At least 2 years of experience in planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications for enterprise-level systems. - Proficient in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. - Experience in architecting and developing software/infrastructure for secure and scalable distributed systems in Hybrid or Multi-cloud environments. - Familiar with AWS Code Pipeline/Code Deploy for CI/CD and automatic deployments. - Knowledge of Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible playbooks, or Linux automation scripts. - Experience with basic APIs or automation scripts for interaction with existing APIs. - Skilled in at least one programming language (C# or similar). - Strong understanding of using Linux toolsets for network analysis. - Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Experience managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining systems integration tools like Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and Grafana. - Knowledge of system monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level using tools like Splunk, ELK, and Prometheus. - Familiar with IDAM requirements and tools, such as Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. - Certification as a Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Kubernetes Administrator. - Prior experience in a government technology setting is preferred. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working within Agile teams. - Masters degree in Computer Science or a related area is a plus. - Understanding of the Army software development process and related technologies is desirable. - Previous experience obtaining an ATO for PaaS is advantageous. - Knowledge or experience with US Navy processes is beneficial. - AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and oversee the logical infrastructure for applications (Platform as a Service - PaaS). - Ensure smooth operation of all new software across various programs and platforms, including mobile interfaces. - Automate processes for testing, deployment, and configuration management. - Sustain hardware, software, and storage resources to maintain the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure. - Ensure the overall health and performance of the PaaS and the applications that operate on it. - Set up and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Write new code as well as modify existing code to meet program specifications. - Conduct thorough testing of both new and existing software to ensure functionality and correctness. - Update and troubleshoot current systems to guarantee a seamless user experience across different platforms. - Enhance new and existing programs for optimal mobile accessibility, including smartphones and tablets.
