Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or an associates degree combined with 8+ years of relevant experience - Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is mandatory; eligible candidates will be encouraged to apply and may receive assistance for upgrade - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development - Proficiency in both frontend and/or backend web application development - Backend: professional proficiency in at least one language such as C#, Java, Python, or Go - Frontend: professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, CSS, HTML, and React - Strong SQL skills or familiarity with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) - Self-driven with the ability to transform broad requirements into actionable solutions - Open to seeking guidance while also providing alternative resolutions - Experience with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub - Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to address challenges - Adept at troubleshooting existing applications and developing new features or solutions - Excellent communication skills to provide updates frequently and clearly - Proficient in both relational and non-relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, Postgres, and MongoDB, with skills in schema design, data definitions, and complex queries.

Responsibilities

- Engage as a versatile software developer delivering web-based solutions for federal clients, skilled in multiple programming languages and frameworks - Collaborate effectively with government leads to design and implement solutions, user interfaces, and website architectures - Familiarity with Agile development practices is essential - We value candidates who are eager to explore new technologies and develop their skills into unfamiliar areas - Responsible for the maintenance and creation of custom web applications, potentially involving Tableau dashboards, along with coding and debugging tasks - Research, build, and test methodologies to ensure integration aligns with government standards, working with the governmental lead to refine site concepts.
