Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering; Masters degree is a plus
- Over 10 years of pertinent engineering and technical experience
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent team player with a customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally to various testing sites
- Capability to pass a DHS background check and obtain a Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of testing activities to evaluate commercially available technologies for emergency response and homeland security operations (e.g., UAS, communications systems, AI/ML-enabled technologies, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to understand and analyze operational requirements to determine the necessary evaluations and specific data needs
- Organize work elements, resources, and facilities required for testing
- Create test planning documents, including protocols, assessment plans, and operational scenarios
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Conduct testing (both lab and field), along with data collection and analysis
- Prepare test reports that detail findings, conclusions, and recommendations regarding the suitability or use of the tested technologies/systems
