Lead Data Scientist

You will be responsible for harnessing advanced analytics and data science to sculpt pricing strategies, optimize revenue, and enhance price performance across our product range. I expect you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and pricing specialists in creating effective pricing solutions, refining discount logic, and ensuring consistency across product categories and regions. You will partner with pricing and business experts to maintain, refine, and expand price-setting logic across downstream systems, thereby supporting pricing consistency across various categories and regions. Working alongside data professionals, including data engineers and IT, you will design robust data models and algorithms that support pricing systems, influence discount logic, and enable other core data-driven pricing solutions. Your role will involve analyzing extensive and diverse datasets to validate hypotheses, conduct predictive modeling, and inform pricing decisions across product lines. Additionally, you will manage pricing engines and algorithms for over 1,000,000 individual SKUs across more than 5 price levels. You will shape the Pricing Analytics roadmap by identifying evolving data science requirements, recommending analytical tools, and proposing new methodologies to enhance the pricing function. Finally, you will drive continuous KPI monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing initiatives, uncover trends, and foster proactive, data-driven decision-making. Conducting ad-hoc analyses and reporting for real-time business needs while ensuring insights are accessible and meaningful to key stakeholders will be a key part of your responsibilities.
