Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in Angular (components, modules, dependency injection, routing, forms) and TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+).
- Understanding of RxJS and reactive programming patterns; familiarity with state management solutions like NgRx is advantageous.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, modern UI frameworks, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and front-end/back-end integration (GraphQL experience is a bonus).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jasmine/Karma or Jest for unit tests; Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end tests).
- Skilled in Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile methodologies.
- Bonus: Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Highcharts) for healthcare dashboards.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Desirable experience with healthcare technology (EHR/EMR, medication management systems, or clinical decision support tools).
Responsibilities
- Design and create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces utilizing Angular and modern TypeScript practices.
- Develop reusable UI components, services, and modules; contribute to a scalable front-end architecture and design system.
- Collaborate with clinicians, product managers, and backend engineers to transform complex medical workflows into efficient and compliant user experiences.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs, adhering to healthcare data standards where applicable.
- Utilize reactive programming patterns with RxJS and implement state management solutions when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare requirements.
- Engage in code reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, and adherence to coding best practices.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to safeguard against regressions and verify software reliability.
- Optimize front-end performance for handling large datasets and real-time clinical applications.
- Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Keep abreast of front-end trends and emerging healthcare technology standards to enhance product quality and user experience.
