Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, or applied AI engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python are essential.
- Proven experience in building and deploying applications using LLM APIs and AI solutions in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in Applied AI/ML and Prompt Engineering, Generative AI & LLM Integration, and Enterprise Data Integration.
- Familiarity with API and Cloud Application Development, as well as Security-aware Engineering principles.
- Hands-on expertise with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Comprehensive understanding of data engineering principles, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search technologies.
- Exposure to frameworks like Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, LangChain, or LlamaIndex is advantageous.
- Familiarity with MLOps platforms such as MLflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, or Databricks is an asset.
- Background in regulated or data-sensitive industries, such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare, is preferred.
- Awareness of AI governance, Responsible AI practices, model explainability, and data classification standards is valued.
- Experience in developing enterprise copilots or agentic AI solutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI applications, including enterprise copilots, document intelligence tools, and workflow automation agents.
- Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise data sources like SharePoint and data lakes.
- Build and maintain comprehensive AI/ML pipelines that encompass data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into business workflows through APIs and platforms such as Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
- Design and execute prompt-engineering and grounding frameworks to enhance accuracy and reliability.
- Convert business needs into functional AI prototypes and scalable production-ready applications across various domains.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to transition models into production and with Product Owners/Subject Matter Experts to refine requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Deploy and monitor AI solutions on cloud platforms, adhering to best software-engineering practices.
- Establish MLOps and LLMOps capabilities that include monitoring, logging, and performance tracking along with cost optimization.
- Implement controls to mitigate data leakage and ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks.
