Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree in engineering with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 19 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Over 5 years of experience in technical leadership in systems engineering.
- More than 5 years of experience with space-based payload or vehicle systems.
- Proven professional experience in technical analysis, managing specifications, and developing design review and technical documents.
- Experience in leading product testing and design verification efforts, including requirements sell-off and data package generation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee requirements traceability and develop test plans to validate requirements.
- Manage technical analyses, specifications, and the creation of design review and technical documentation.
- Conduct design trade analyses to aid in technical decision-making.
- Direct design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.).
- Guide the team through the integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems and associated hardware and software.
- Lead product testing and verification, including requirements sell-off and generation of end item data packages.
- Support or lead data analysis and modeling and simulation efforts.
- Assess space vehicle and customer requirements to help establish and coordinate system performance criteria, ensuring the integration of technical parameters and the compatibility of all program interfaces.
- Evaluate and mitigate program risks.
- Mentor and develop a skilled team of Systems Engineers.
- Contribute to proposal efforts and program planning, guidance, and execution.
